"Practice Safe Sleep," the latest Marcus Thomas LLC campaign for client Swisspers has earned a Gold Momentum Award, honoring the best program for an existing product or service in the 2015 WOMMY Awards, held Tuesday November 3 in Miami.
The WOMMY Awards are produced by the Word of Mouth Marketing Association. Twenty four awards were presented, with 8 golds in 8 categories.
Marcus Thomas, a mid-sized agency headquartered in Cleveland, Ohio, topped global mega agencies Dentsu Y&R and Dentsu Public Relations for Dole Japan (Silver) and Razorfish/DigitasLBi for Motorola (Bronze).
This is the latest recognition for the agency's work for Swisspers, a brand of cotton rounds produced by US Cotton.
WOMMY awards are given for business results in combination with creative idea. The agency's work for Swisspers over the past four years has helped the brand grows sales by 27% – specifically attributable to word of mouth marketing efforts.
