If kids ruled, anything would be possible.
Have you seen a typical hospital overview brochure? Because many facilities use them as an inclusive description of services, they’re often big. Really big. Think Yellow Pages big. Akron Children’s Hospital had one just like that but needed a better solution, since few wanted or needed such a comprehensive piece for telling potential hires, referring doctors or patients about what makes their hospital special. “We have a brand essence video,” they said. “Can we capture that in print?”
Our concept included a brand-focused front section that read like a children’s book to deliver not only an overview of services but also a flavor of the hospital itself. The back section provides additional details.
How well has it worked? Akron Children's can’t keep them in stock due to demand. As for the old, Yellow Pages-sized version, well, there’s still a boatload available. Anyone need a doorstop?
